Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled project manager in Raleigh, NC to lead customer projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget alignment, and business goal outcomes.

You will gather requirements, document progress, and liaise between customers and field engineering while driving adoption of OpenBlue Employee software and AutoCAD-based floor plans. Travel < 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving customer success.
• Experience managing projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Experience with SaaS implementations or customer onboarding projects.
• Demonstrated experience with software or system configuration.
• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• AutoCAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring on-time delivery and budget alignment.
• Act as the primary liaison between customers and technical teams and document requirements.
• Manage project documentation, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Train users on system capabilities and best practices.
• Create and maintain project documentation (plans, agendas, minutes, reports).
• Configure OpenBlue Employee software and related platform settings.
• Develop floor plan images using AutoCAD.
