Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Project Delivery Consultant to manage project estimation, scheduling and delivery within the Central Area. The role collaborates with Development Managers, engineers and vendors to secure contracts and ensure on-time, on-budget project execution.

The incumbent will develop execution plans, schedules and budgets, maintain client relationships, and support post-mortem improvements across multiple projects and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business or equivalent work experience.
• Ten or more years of progressively more responsible operations management experience in the Installation Industry.
• High-level competence in written and verbal communication.
• Strong presentation skills and proficiency in speaking to large audiences.
• Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-business unit project teams to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Self-performs sales support activities early in the audit process.
• Self-performs cost estimating, project scheduling and construction management of projects.
• Develops billing and payment schedule and negotiates terms.
• Understands project scope and communicates expectations to Development and Delivery teams.
• Plans and schedules development activities pertaining to future delivery.
