Job summary

Totlani & Partners partners with a confidential technology company to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst focused on financial planning, forecasting, and business performance analysis for sales, marketing, and subscription-based revenue.

You will work with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to build models, translate data into actionable recommendations, and improve reporting and planning processes in a hybrid role based near Murrieta, CA.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and business analytics.
• SaaS revenue models and recurring revenue understanding.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables and data tables.
• Experience with ERP/CRM and financial reporting or planning systems.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and strong communication.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and finalize reports.

Responsibilities

• Support annual sales and marketing budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Build revenue and expense forecast models across multiple business lines.
• Analyze actual results vs budgets, forecasts, and prior periods; explain KPIs.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend actions.
• Prepare reports and presentations for leadership.
• Develop financial models for sales, marketing and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare monthly business reviews and consolidate data from CRM/ERP/BI.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and sales ops to improve processes.
• Use automation and AI-assisted analysis to support modeling.
