Job summary

ProSites, a California-based company, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to build and manage annual sales and marketing budgets, forecast models, and KPI reporting. You will collaborate with Finance leadership to develop financial models for strategic projects and provide analysis across Revenue, Ops, and IT functions.

The role requires 5+ years in financial analysis within software/tech, strong Excel/ERP skills, and experience with SaaS revenue models. Hybrid work near Murrieta, CA is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial modeling, business analysis, FP&A, business integration, analytics.
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel (INDEX, VLOOKUP, PIVOT TABLES, NPV, IRR, DATA TABLE, WHAT-IF ANALYSIS)
• Advanced experience with corporate budgeting processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills (verbal, written and listening).
• Ability to switch from complex to routine tasks when required.
• Experience using SageIntacct or other ERP systems (Microsoft-Great Plains, Oracle NetSuite).
• Understanding of SaaS and subscription revenue models.
• Experience creating financial models using Tableau or Power Pivot; Claude for analysis.
• Minimum 5 years of financial analyst experience in software/tech industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA/ACA/CFA/MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and develop annual sales and marketing budgets and targets with quarterly forecasts.
• Prepare and review variances between Actual/Budget/Forecast.
• Reconcile transactions by comparing vs. budget and prior periods; investigate variances.
• Provide management with data summaries, reports, and presentations.
• Develop and refine key metrics for robust analysis of strengths and opportunities.
• Support annual budget cycle and quarterly forecast cycles.
• Present findings to management as needed.
• Maintain SAAS dashboard and provide weekly management updates.
• Engage in financial modeling for potential M&A activity.
• Collaborate with Revenue Ops, Accounting, HR, IT, and Sales Ops to drive improvements.
