Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Manager of Business Development to build influential relationships with key partners and senior-level contacts, showcasing Amex GBT’s suite of business travel software and services.

You will lead discovery with decision makers, deliver data-driven presentations, negotiate contracts, onboard customers with the implementation team, and drive revenue while meeting monthly and quarterly targets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of consultative selling experience within tech/SaaS.
• Proven sales achievements and consistently exceeds targets.
• Proficient with CRM, pipeline management, proposals and sales enablement tools.
• Strong prospecting and prioritization skills.
• Willing to travel 25-50% and work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and conduct discovery with key decision makers.
• Develop knowledge of Amex GBT products, solutions and differentiation.
• Deliver data-driven presentations, demonstrations, proposals and RFIs/RFPs to executives.
• Grow portfolio and revenue through contract negotiation and closing.
• Onboard new customers in partnership with the implementation team.
• Meet monthly/quarterly sales goals and targets with integrity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive new sales.
• Maintain records, document value, and respond to prospects' questions.
