Job summary

CallRail in Atlanta is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead a 3-person accounting team, own the close, and partner with the CFO and Corporate Controller. You will oversee GAAP reporting, tax, audit, and banking compliance, while introducing automation and AI to streamline tasks.

Ideal candidates hold an active CPA with 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience in a growth SaaS company, including 3+ years managing a team; strong NetSuite and Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Active CPA with 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years managing a team.
• Experience in a fast-paced SaaS/technology company.
• GAAP knowledge with ASC 606 revenue recognition experience.
• Hands-on with NetSuite and modern AI accounting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close with GAAP compliance.
• Manage SaaS accounting workflows, including ASC 606 and commissions deferrals.
• Oversee annual audit process and external auditor relationship.
• Identify and implement AI-driven automation to shorten close days.
• Mentor and lead a 3-person accounting team.
