RTX is seeking a Business Readiness Deployment Lead for onsite work in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will own readiness across multi-wave S/4HANA deployments, coordinating processes and governance while aligning with executives and site leaders. The role requires extensive experience in business readiness and transformation leadership, with travel up to 25% within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience 7 years in business readiness, transformation leadership, or enterprise deployment.
• Experience leading multi-site or multi-wave readiness efforts.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and executive alignment skills.
• Requires deep management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across multiple related departments.
• Operational knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, or AM.
• Proven ability to work effectively across large, matrixed organizations.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• User-Group Governance & Decision Authority – Own readiness integrity for assigned user groups across all waves.
• Strategic & Wave Leadership – Translate strategy into actionable multi-wave readiness plans.
• Operational & Process Fluency – Understand hRC operational realities across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and aftermarket.
• Readiness Management & Framework Ownership – Lead readiness reviews and validate readiness indicators and scorecards.
• Scenario & Validation Oversight – Support criteria for meaningful day-in-the-life scenario testing.
• Cutover & Deployment Leadership – Support cutover planning, rehearsals, and stabilization across sites.
• Change Leadership & Communication – Translate program impacts into clear, role-specific messaging.
• Problem Solving & Adaptability – Diagnose issues quickly and adapt plans in a fast-paced environment.
