Carr Veterinary Hospital in Oak Ridge, NC is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team and support outpatient care and surgery. We value credentialed technicians who bring clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills across the hospital.

You will perform anesthesia induction, monitoring and recovery, dental procedures (prophylaxis and radiography), maintain medical records, and educate clients.

Formación

• 3+ years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
• Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in North Carolina preferred
• Exotics experience preferred
• Proficiency in patient assessment, nursing care, anesthesia, surgical assistance, dental prophylaxis, radiography, venipuncture, and client education

Responsabilidades

• Support exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
• Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Perform dental procedures including prophylaxis and radiography
• Maintain detailed medical records and treatment documentation
• Review treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
• Identify patient concerns and assist with case management across the hospital
• Build strong client relationships through education and attentive service
