Job summary

Wellshire Animal Hospital in Denver, CO is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our five-doctor practice and support surgical anesthesia and outpatient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years veterinary technician experience.
• Active Colorado RVT license in good standing.
• Proficiency in anesthesia, surgery, dental care, and radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery.
• Assist with routine and advanced soft tissue surgical procedures.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiography.
• Maintain accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately.
• Identify patient concerns and support efficient case management across the hospital.
• Build strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service.
