Job summary

Wellshire Animal Hospital in Denver, CO seeks an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to support our surgical and anesthesia programs and provide high-quality outpatient care. Our five-doctor practice values technician utilization across surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, and patient care.

You will play an integral role in the surgical program while supporting overall patient care and client education in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Active and in‑state RVT license in Colorado or eligible for transfer.
• Minimum 3 years of veterinary technician experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Induce, monitor, troubleshoot, and recover anesthesia.
• Assist with soft tissue surgery and dental procedures.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and radiographs; maintain records.
• Review plans, meds, and discharge instructions with clients.
