Veritas Veterinary Partners is launching Denver Veterinary Specialists – Wash Park, seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join the Surgery & Anesthesia team in Denver, CO. This role offers the chance to work with board-certified surgeons and grow a new specialty practice.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in surgery and anesthesia, proficiency in induction, monitoring, and recovery, and a collaborative mindset to support high‑acuity cases while

Qualifications

• RVT is required and must be registered.
• Minimum of 2 years in surgery and anesthesia.
• Experience in specialty hospitals preferred.
• Experience managing anesthesia for ASA III and higher-risk patients.
• Proficient in induction, intubation, monitoring, and recovery.
• Experience with ECG, blood pressure, SpO2, capnography, and temperature monitoring.
• Ability to recognize and respond to anesthetic complications.
• Strong sterile surgical prep and patient positioning skills.
• Familiar with anesthesia machines and perioperative documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication; able to collaborate with surgeons.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery including IV catheter placement and medication administration.
• Induce, intubate, and monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Continuously monitor anesthetic depth and vital signs.
• Assist with surgical prep, positioning, and sterile environment.
• Provide post-operative recovery monitoring and pain assessment.
• Operate and maintain anesthesia machines and equipment.
• Document anesthesia records and perioperative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons and specialty team to ensure high-quality care.
