Job summary

Wellshire Animal Hospital in Denver, CO is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to lead our surgical program and support high-quality outpatient care. You will work with a collaborative five-doctor team and three RVTs to maximize technician utilization in anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry.

Qualifications

• 3+ years veterinary technician experience and Colorado RVT license.
• Proficient in anesthesia, surgery assistance, and dental care.
• Strong client communication and record-keeping skills.
• VTNE testing or licensure transfer encouraged for applicants.

Responsibilities

• Support exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Induce, monitor, troubleshoot, and recover anesthesia.
• Assist with soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiography.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment notes.
• Explain treatment plans, medications, and discharges to clients clearly.
• Support case management and build strong client relationships.
