Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) to join our growing RV service team. You’ll diagnose and repair RV coach systems, generators and coach body components, with attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities include performing complete diagnostic tests, electrical, plumbing and carpentry maintenance, tracking parts, and keeping supervisors informed of progress. Tools and a valid driver's license are required; RVIA certification is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school is helpful but not required; relevant work experience is considered.
• Minimum of 1 year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
• RVIA certification is helpful but not required.
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools and be able to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress.
• Ensure final work product meets quality standards and is inspected.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
