Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) to diagnose and repair RV coach systems, generators and coach body issues. The role requires sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical maintenance.

We offer to certify individuals not already certified, a paid on-the-job training path, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff. Lifting up to 25 lbs and prior driving license are considered in the fit.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field is helpful but work experience is considered
• Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred
• RVIA certification helpful but not required
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices
• Prolonged standing, stooping, crawling and bending

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
• Keep supervisor appraised of work progress
• Ensure final work product meets quality standards and is inspected
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
