Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic and repair skills for RV coach systems, generators and coach body repairs, and a passion for fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems.

We provide opportunities to certify individuals not already certified and offer on-the-job training; expect lifting up to 50 lbs, exposure to heights and hazards, and a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in a trade field is helpful.
• Minimum of 1 year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
• RVIA certification helpful but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document diagnostic tests and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress.
• Ensure final work meets quality standards and is inspected.
