Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) to join our growing team in Texas. The role emphasizes advanced diagnostic and repair work for RV coach systems, generators, and coach body repairs.

Ideal candidates bring experience in mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance tasks. Certification helps, RVIA certification is appreciated but not required, and Camping World will assist with certification where needed.

Qualifications

• Trade school or college certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or maintenance is helpful.
• Minimum 1 year service technician experience preferred.
• RVIA certification helpful but not required.
• Must furnish own hand tools.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress.
• Ensure final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
