Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) to diagnose, repair and replace components for customers on-site. You will document services performed and track parts used, ensuring quality and safety standards. A background in trades is valued, with tools supplied by the technician in many cases.

The role emphasizes thorough maintenance, teamwork and clear communication with supervisors. Applicants should be capable of lifting up to 25 lbs and have a valid license if possible.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in a trade is helpful but experience counts.
• Minimum of 1 year service technician experience or related field preferred.
• RVIA certification is helpful but not required.
• Exposure to heights and hazards from electrical and welding work.
• Must furnish own hand tools and lift up to 25 lb with assistance.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic tests and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance as needed.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress.
• Ensure final work meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
