Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) in Roanoke, VA to diagnose and repair RV coach systems, generators, and body components. You will document tests, perform electrical/plumbing/servicing tasks, and manage parts used while keeping work areas safe and organized.

The role requires basic trade schooling or hands-on experience; RVIA certs are helpful but not required. You must provide your own tools; lifting up to 25–50 lbs and working with heights are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field can be helpful but is not required.
• Minimum of 1-year service technician experience preferred.
• RVIA certification helpful but not required.
• Must furnish own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress.
• Ensure final work meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
