Job summary

Campers Inn RV in Knoxville, TN seeks an Assistant Service Manager to lead our service operations and oversee service employees. You will oversee daily activities, ensure efficient workflow, and collaborate with Parts and Sales to keep the department running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has prior service experience in RV/auto, strong conflict resolution and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office (Excel). We offer comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Prior service experience in RV or Automotive industry.
• Management experience in an automotive service department is preferred.
• Strong conflict resolution and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service operations and service employees under limited supervision by the Service Manager.
• Train service employees to operate at optimal efficiency.
• Ensure daily management with weekly meetings covering issues, productivity, safety, and training.
• Identify and provide solutions to avoid escalation.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to manage a high-volume service department.
• Cultivate employee tenure through recognition and development.
• Coordinate with Parts and Sales to keep the Service division running smoothly.
• Maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
