Job summary

Campers Inn RV is seeking a Service Advisor/Writer to partner with customers, schedule service work and communicate needed repairs. You will develop repair estimates, verify warranty coverage, and keep customers updated on RV status throughout the service process.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least one year of RV service experience, with strong communication and multitasking skills. Flexibility for evenings and weekends, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year RV service experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of company computer systems applications, including Motility Systems2K.

Responsibilities

• Identifies RV problems and services by listening to customer’s description of symptoms
• Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions
• Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles
• Handles customer complaints and maintains high customer satisfaction standards
• Periodically checks on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacts the customer as needed to keep them up to date with their RV’s status
