Job summary

Campers Inn RV is seeking a Service and Parts Advisor to assist customers with scheduling service work, communicating needed repairs, and ensuring the correct parts and accessories are in stock.

You will work closely with the service team to estimate costs, prepare repair orders, explain warranties, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate parts inventory and a positive relationship with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year RV service experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and provide superior customer service.
• Proficient with computer systems and MS Office; ability to learn company systems (Motility Systems2K).

Responsibilities

• Identifies RV problems and services by listening to customer’s description of symptoms.
• Assist Sales Staff in providing accessories.
• Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions.
• Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles.
• Prepares repair orders (RO) and dispatches incoming parts to technicians.
• Handles customer complaints and maintains high customer satisfaction standards.
• Periodically checks on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacts the customer as needed to keep them up to date with their RV’s status.
• Takes daily cycle counts and tracks all parts inventory.
• Receives all incoming parts.
