Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) to diagnose and repair RV coach systems, generators, and coach body components. You’ll handle mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and general maintenance with attention to detail.

The role emphasizes advanced diagnostic skills, safe work practices, and clear documentation. We offer training and certification support; a robust benefits package is provided for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year service technician experience or related field.
• Certification from college or technical school in a trade is helpful but experience counts.
• RVIA certification helpful but not required.
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor informed of work progress.
• Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
