Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 2+ years working on a single codebase or product
• Proficiency in Rust, C/C++, Python; Matlab is a plus
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and scalable systems
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Define and influence the direction of a small team, leveraging subject‑matter expertise in target tracking and state estimation
• Architect, maintain, and evolve complex software systems for performance, maintainability and scalability
• Prototype and deploy state‑of‑the‑art algorithms for tracking, multi‑sensor data fusion, and state estimation
• Develop high‑performance Rust software for real‑time systems
• Design and implement robust filters, estimators, and probabilistic reasoning systems
• Apply design patterns to manage technical debt and guide production systems evolution
• Analyze system performance using simulations and statistical techniques
• Drive customer success by customizing algorithms for mission‑critical use cases
• Integrate tracking and estimation technologies into the software development lifecycle
• Translate progress into clear insights for stakeholders
