ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC in La Grande, OR seeks a Psychiatrist to join a growing Critical Access Hospital and Level IV Trauma Center. You will provide autonomous psychiatric care within a supportive team, growing behavioral health and primary care services in a rural setting.

Qualifikationen

• MD from an accredited school.
• Completion of ACGME-accredited Residency in Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry.
• Strong commitment to providing high-quality care in a community-oriented environment.

Aufgaben

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care for a diverse rural patient population.
• Oversee pharmacological treatments and monitor patient progress to ensure therapeutic efficacy and safety.
• Partner with Primary Care providers and Behavioral Health specialists to provide a whole-patient approach to health.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic mental health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders).
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the behavioral health team, contributing to workforce training and the development of clinical protocols.
• Utilize Epic EMR for timely and accurate clinical charting.
• Provide consultation within the Level IV Trauma Center environment when psychiatric expertise is required for acute patient stabilization.
• Participate in community-based initiatives to reduce the stigma of mental health and improve access to care in the region.

Ausbildung

MD (Medical Degree)

ACGME-accredited Residency in Psychiatry

Active, unrestricted State Medical License

Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry
