Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Psychiatrist for a permanent, full-time role in La Grande, Oregon. This rural Critical Access Hospital and Level IV Trauma Center offers professional autonomy within a supportive clinical team, with four 10-hour days and day shift.

The ideal candidate has an MD, ACGME Psychiatry residency, an active state license, and board certification or eligibility. Compensation ranges up to $385k+ per year, plus incentives, loan assistance, CME funds, and comprehensive

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry.
• Strong commitment to high-quality, community-focused care.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care for a diverse rural patient population.
• Oversee pharmacological treatments and monitor patient progress to ensure therapeutic efficacy and safety.
• Partner with Primary Care providers and Behavioral Health specialists to provide a holistic, “whole-patient” approach to health.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic mental health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders).
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the behavioral health team, contributing to workforce training and the development of clinical protocols.
• Utilize Epic EMR for timely and accurate clinical charting.
• Provide consultation within the Level IV Trauma Center environment when psychiatric expertise is required for acute patient stabilization.
• Participate in community-based initiatives to reduce the stigma of mental health and improve access to care in the region.
