Job summary

The State of Alaska, Department of Health, is seeking a Project Coordinator for the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) in Anchorage or Juneau. You will advance Alaska’s rural health priorities, coordinating with communities, Tribal health organizations, providers and state teams to drive measurable progress.

This full-time, hybrid role requires independent judgment, strong communication, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Experience with grant-funded programs or public-sector initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Advance Alaska’s rural health priorities within the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP).
• Develop and manage work plans, timelines, deliverables, and documentation to track progress.
• Support federal compliance, reporting, funding decisions, and program monitoring.
• Coordinate with contractors, awardees, and Department staff to resolve issues and keep projects moving toward measurable results.
