Job summary

Columbia Memorial Health is seeking a Project Manager to lead rural health initiatives, employing organizational best practices, techniques, and standards. You will focus on needs assessment, outcomes and performance frameworks, and community engagement to improve access to behavioral health and women's health services.

You will coordinate projects from needs assessment through implementation, develop implementation plans, monitor progress, and report to NYSDOH.

Qualifications

• Education in project management and healthcare management, specifically in rural settings.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading healthcare projects, preferably involving care plan implementation and data collection.
• Strong clinical knowledge of rural healthcare and ambulatory systems, operational problem-solving skills, and experience in healthcare practice and rural health.
• Ability to work across functions in a diverse environment, manage competing priorities, and explain complex technical information in plain language.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to acquire knowledge to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and communicate about rural health clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead rural health initiatives using organizational best practices, techniques, and standards.
• Review access to maternal, postpartum, pediatric, and behavioral health services with the rural health needs assessment vendor.
• Develop outcomes and metrics with stakeholders and partners and gather community feedback.
• Coordinate the project from needs assessment and planning through implementation; develop the implementation plan and manage status.
• Monitor expenses with Finance, oversee work products, and provide updates to NYSDOH.
