Job summary

The CDC Foundation, in collaboration with the Oregon Health Authority, seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead and coordinate the Rural Health Transformation Program. This remote role includes travel to Oregon and oversees five program initiatives and three funding pathways with a focus on risk management, governance and cross‑functional alignment.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in complex program leadership, proficient in Smartsheet and enterprise PM tools, and a proven ability to deliver

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in public health or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 10 years leading complex projects or programs with project management as a core responsibility.
• Proven ability to scope, estimate and allocate resources for multifaceted initiatives with interdependent deliverables.
• Advanced experience with project scheduling, risk management and coordinating workflows across diverse teams.
• Experience creating, maintaining and using project trackers within enterprise tools; Smartsheet experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads strategic project management for the RHTP program’s three funding pathways, five initiatives and grant coordinators.
• Designs and manages integrated project frameworks, workplans and schedules for timely deliverables.
• Develops and maintains dashboards, reports and executive summaries for leadership.
• Oversees planning and execution of internal and external engagements aligning with CMS guidelines.
• Champions standardized project management practices and improves cross‑team coordination.
