Job summary

Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking a Community Health Aide/Practitioner to provide primary health care in Chevak village clinics. Responsibilities include acute, chronic and preventive care and travel for training and coverage.

Candidate must reside in Chevak or relocate, be proficient in English, and willing to participate in itinerant coverage and village trainings; starting at 40 hours weekly with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate basic math ability and literacy.
• Ability to read, write and follow simple instructions.
• Must complete TABE and CHAP trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health care in village clinics.
• Participate in preventative and chronic care activities.
• Be available for year-round coverage and float to other villages.
