Job summary
Technical Talent Group seeks a hands-on Mechanical Engineer in Chandler, AZ to owns mechanical design from concept through prototype and production. You will design mechanisms and packaging for electronics enclosures and larger systems, create 3D models and detailed drawings in Creo/SolidWorks, and ensure manufacturability while collaborating with electrical engineers.
Expect client-facing design reviews and familiarity with MIL-STDs (461, 810) or equivalent rugged experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or higher in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience taking a design from concept to fielded product.
- Proficiency with Creo or SolidWorks and familiarity with fabrication processes.
Responsibilities
- Own mechanical design from concept through prototype and production.
- Design mechanisms and packaging for electronics enclosures and larger systems.
- Create 3D models and detailed drawings in Creo or SolidWorks.
- Ensure parts are manufacturable and machinable.
- Collaborate with electrical/hardware engineers to integrate components.
- Participate in client-facing design reviews and program updates.
- Familiarity with MIL-STDs (461, 810) or equivalent rugged design experience.
