Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
3–7 years of relevant industry experience (defense, rugged electronics, aerospace, or similar strongly preferred).
Proficiency with Creo, SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tools; experience with PDM systems a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components, enclosures, and assemblies for ruggedized electronic systems.
Conduct 3D modeling, simulation, and detailed mechanical analysis using CAD and related tools.
Create and maintain engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, test reports, and design validations.
Perform tolerance analysis, thermal analysis, and structural evaluation for mission-critical products.
Plan, build, and test prototypes to verify mechanical performance and environmental resilience.
Collaborate with electrical and manufacturing engineers to draft work instructions.
