Job summary

Juggernaut Defense LLC in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Product Design Engineer to drive mechanical components from concept to production. You will translate requirements into manufacturable, durable solutions and work with Design, Electrical, and Manufacturing to ensure performance and quality.

You’ll design plastic parts for molding, CNC housings for electrical assemblies, and maintain CAD drawings, BOMs, and ECOs while balancing cost, schedule, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Experience from concept through production in product development and manufacturing.
• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for demanding applications.
• Knowledge of DFMA, materials, tolerances, and injection molding.
• Experience with CNC housings and electrical assemblies.
• Prototyping, 3D printing, validation testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Independently design mechanical components, assemblies, and subsystems from concept through production.
• Translate product requirements into functional, durable, and manufacturable solutions.
• Develop concepts using sketching, 3D CAD, rendering, mock-ups, and 3D printing.
• Create parametric CAD models, drawings, and BOMs; process ECOs.
• Collaborate with Industrial Design, Electrical, and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Plan and execute engineering validation testing; build and iterate prototypes.
• Support product launches, transitions to manufacturing, and design-for-manufacturing.
