Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Mexia, Texas, is hiring a Rehab Therapy Technician IV ( RTT IV ) to support behavioral therapy services at the Mexia State Supported Living Center. The role focuses on implementing treatment plans, supervising direct support staff, and contributing to data collection for ongoing clinical goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least six months of work experience with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities or in performing therapeutic work.
• Experience in areas of applied behavior analysis, sensory integration, music therapy, therapeutic recreation, dance/movement therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, or vocational rehabilitation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly implements treatment plans through hands-on methods and monitors progress.
• Trains staff to ensure continuity of treatment plans.
• Assists in development and evaluation of treatment plans for assigned therapies.
• Collects data and reports progress to the interdisciplinary team.
