Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician IV (RTT IV) at the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center. You will implement treatment plans, monitor goals, and support DSP staff to maintain continuity of care in a dynamic environment.

The role requires knowledge of therapeutic techniques, data collection, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to foster patient wellness and independence. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques used in state settings.
• Ability to train staff in treatment methods.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Assist in development of treatment and support plans.
• Develop and maintain data collection systems for therapies.
• Ability to use PCs and relevant software.
• Knowledge of ICF/IID regulations and policies.
• Meet physical requirements for direct care roles.
• Collaborate effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Attends regular shifts, supports schedule plans, and may include overtime.
• Directly implements treatment plans and monitors goals.
• Assist in evaluating treatment plans across disciplines.
• Train DSPs to ensure plan continuity during hours when therapists are unavailable.
• Collect data and report progress to the interdisciplinary team.
