Job summary

homechefinternalemployees is seeking a Production Lead (RTH) for a 2nd shift (3:30 PM–12:30 AM) in California. You will guide a line of production associates through RTH prep, assembly, portioning, and shipping, while training staff and ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will also drive production targets, coordinate with the supervisor and warehouse, and continuously improve SOPs and workflows to minimize waste and downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a production team in food manufacturing.
• Ability to train and guide associates to meet daily production targets.
• Familiarity with GMP and PPE standards in food environments.

Responsibilities

• Guide RTH prep, assembly, portioning, meal bagging, and shipping lines.
• Set up production tables and lines per SOPs; ensure targets are met.
• Communicate production plans and expectations to shift team.
• Coordinate with warehouse to prevent downtime and ensure stock availability.
• Monitor waste and quality, escalate issues to supervision as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe workspace and report damages or missing parts promptly.
• Assist in shipping line operations and understand packaging/labeling requirements.
