Job summary

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is seeking a highly experienced RSP Manager, Social Work to oversee related service providers, budget planning, and program quality across schools. You will lead recruitment, evaluations, and professional development to support student outcomes under IDEA and Section 504.

The role requires a master’s degree, ISBE licensure, and a strong track record in leadership, collaboration, and bilingual communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or related field.
• PEL with ISBE school support personnel endorsement required.
• REACH certification or commitment to complete.
• Principal endorsement/general admin certificate preferred.
• Minimum five years as a licensed teacher and two years as related service provider.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements training for related service providers to improve effectiveness.
• Collaborates with CPS Talent Office on recruitment and hiring.
• Publishes and reviews performance evaluations to improve outcomes.
• Monitors budget classifications and allocates staff and resources.
• Coordinates assignments and schedules for district and agency providers.
• Leads staff development and supports district goals.
• Maintains strong stakeholder relationships (schools, families, administrators).
• Supports policy compliance with IDEA and Section 504 requirements.
