Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in special education or related field.
• Master’s degree in educational administration as applicable.
• Two or more years of experience in special education.
• PEL license in Special Education or School Support Personnel with supervisory endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local district representative at required meetings under IDEA and 504.
• Coordinate referrals and evaluations (FIE) within regulatory timelines.
• Chair and coordinate IEP and 504 conferences and document plans in the district system.
• Ensure compliant parental notices, language access, and data entry into CPS systems.
• Collaborate with principals and staff to implement IEPs and 504 plans.
