Job summary

The Riley Sports Legends Experience (RSLE) Guest Experience Intern at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is a part-time, on-site position for Spring 2027. You will assist with operations and interpretive experiences in RSLE spaces, gaining hands-on museum exposure, research, scheduling, and exhibit maintenance.

Open to undergraduates (sophomore–senior) or recent grads with strong presentation and customer-service skills and a background in sports or youth activities.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior, or senior year or recent grad enrolled in a college/university program.
• Experience engaging with children in formal or informal settings.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Background in sports is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to museum visitors in a fast-paced environment.
• Learn and perform interpretation programs, scripts, and presentations.
• Manage guest flow in RSLE digital spaces and assist with ticketing.
• Support RSLE leadership with research, projects, and program facilitation.
• Stay informed on RSLE zones and family-learning objectives.
• Participate in professional development and stay current with exhibit content.
