Job summary

The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis seeks a Riley Sports Legends Experience Guest Experience Intern to assist with operations and deliver interpretive experiences in RSLE spaces, including a new digital immersion exhibit. You’ll gain on-the-job experience across research, program facilitation, service delivery, scheduling, and exhibit maintenance.

Qualifications

Experience working with children and youth in formal and informal environments.
Strong presentation and customer service skills.
Ability to work outdoors in varied Indiana weather.

Responsibilities

Provides exceptional service and experiences to museum visitors in a fast-paced environment.
Learns and applies interpretation programs with research, scripts, and presentation practice.
Manages guest flow for the digital immersion space, including ticketing and opening/closing procedures.
Supports RSLE director and manager on projects and programs, working autonomously as needed.
Engages in facilitation and maintains knowledge of RSLE zones and interpretation programs.
Completes professional development training and stays current with exhibit content.
