Job summary

Advocate Health in High Point, NC is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our night shift team in a full-time capacity. This role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and provides opportunities to participate in critical patient care across the hospital.

You will perform respiratory therapies, manage ventilation and airway support, and collaborate with care teams while ensuring compliance with NBRC licensure, BLS, PALS/NRP, and ACLS requirements within 90 days of

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved two or four-year program for respiratory care or NBRC eligibility.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and licensed in North Carolina required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• PALS and NRP within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Promotes cooperative work environment through communication and teamwork.
• Delivers respiratory therapies following applicable standards and policies.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation and airway support.
• Reports routine clinical procedures to relief personnel for continuity of care.
• Performs and maintains competency for point-of-care testing as assigned.
• Provides invasive and non-invasive monitoring to ensure patient safety.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge and supports quality improvement.
