Lexington Health Northeast Emergency Department is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) at a new location opening Spring 2027 in Columbia, SC. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

The role covers inpatient assessments, oxygen therapy, ABG sampling, and mechanical ventilation in addition to outpatient pulmonary rehab and education. Licensing and BLS/ACLS credentials are required or pursued within six months.

Competenze

• 2 Year Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care (AMA accredited) and registered through NBRC.
• No prior years of experience required; active SC license renewal every 2 years.
• BLS certification required; ACLS for Pulmonary Rehab, etc. within six months or first class.
• RR respiratory care license and certifications per SC requirements must be current.

Mansioni

• Assess and manage critical care patients, ventilator modalities, and patient responses.
• Respond to Code Blues and provide CPR as needed.
• Document care activities in medical records and communicate progress.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment; assist with rehab and education.
