Job summary

Lexington Health Northeast Emergency Department is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7:00pm - 7:00am) at our new location opening Spring 2027. A $25,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

The RN will utilize the nursing process to promote health, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and provide physical and psychological support to patients and families. Minimum qualifications include an RN license in South Carolina and ADN/ Diploma or BSN.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in the State of South Carolina.
• Minimum education: ADN, Diploma or BSN.
• New graduate RN’s who acquire their generic RN education through an on-line program will not meet LMC minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Establishes positive rapport with patient and family.
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support.
• Promotes patient's independence by educating patient and family about condition and self-care.
• Maintains confidentiality and advocates for acceptable patient outcomes.
• Documents all patient care activities accurately and timely.
