Job summary

Tenet South Carolina in Rock Hill, SC seeks a Lead Respiratory Therapist to oversee staff and deliver comprehensive respiratory care during night shifts. The role requires a strong background in critical care, leadership, and licensure as a RT. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is paid over two years, with expected 40 hours per week.

The Team Leader will guide respiratory staff performance, participate in evaluations, and ensure high-quality patient care in the RT department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved and accredited Respiratory Therapy program; Associate degree in Science.
• 5 years of Critical Care experience.
• CRT licensure; BLS CPR within 7 days of hire; ACLS, PALS, and NRP within orientation period.
• Preferred: Level 2/3 NICU experience; 1 year Team Leader/Supervisory experience; RRT licensure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Respiratory staff oversight and participate in evaluations and counseling sessions.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients requiring respiratory therapy services.
• Perform and document basic assessments; identify deviations; prioritize problems.
• Continue education for patients and families; coordinate and delegate patient care activities.
