Job summary

Lexington Health Northeast Emergency Department in Columbia, SC, seeks a registered nurse for day shift at a new location opening Spring 2027. This full-time role runs 7:00am–7:00pm and includes a $25,000 sign-on bonus.

The RN will apply the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and provide education to patients and families. New graduate RNs educated online may not meet Lexington Medical Center minimum qualifications; the incumbent must hold a current SC RN

Qualifications

• ADN, Diploma or BSN required.
• New graduate RNs with online program not meeting LMC minimum qualifications.
• Current RN license to practice in the State of South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and support, educating patients and families.
• Documents nursing actions and communicates with multidisciplinary care teams.
• Maintains infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance in care delivery.
• Supervises assigned nursing staff and collaborates with physicians and teams.
