Job summary

Advocate Health's High Point Medical Center - Respiratory Therapy Services is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shifts. The role requires NBRC RRT, NC licensure, and BLS; PALS/NRP and ACLS within 90 days are required. Location: High Point, NC. Schedule: Full Time; Nights. 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an AMA approved two- or four-year program for respiratory care or as NBRC NBRC registry eligibility.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and NC state license required.
• BLS required.
• PALS and NRP within 90 days; ACLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory therapies following department policies and age-appropriate standards.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation and airway support.
• Monitors patient status and reports procedures for continuity of care.
• Maintains competency for point-of-care testing and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Delivers invasive and non-invasive monitoring for patient safety.
