Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care professional to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy under physician orders. You will consult on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care.

Requirements include graduation from a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program, current RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential. ACLS is preferred; PALS may be required for ER staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential NBRC required.
• ACLS preferred; PALS required for ER staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness.
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
