Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Release Support Programmer Analyst for our CPS platform. This remote role supports new releases for existing software and collaborates with external customers and internal teams to ensure smooth deployments.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of OO programming and be comfortable in a programming-support environment, including an on-call rotation outside business hours. SQL experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience programming in an object-oriented language.
• Willing to work in a programming support environment as this is not developing new code.
• Willing to work in an on-call rotation that is outside of normal business hours.

Responsibilities

• Supports programming code for new and/or existing software enhancements.
• Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.
• Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.
• Provides programming support for various interfaces.
• Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes; may assist the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
• May perform other job duties as assigned.
