Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Release Support Programmer Analyst for the Card Processing Solutions team. You will provide programming support for new releases of existing CPS software, working with external customers and internal teams to ensure smooth annual releases.

This role emphasizes multitasking, teamwork, and customer service. This is a remote position; candidates must live within about 70 miles of Allen, TX, Lenexa, KS, Springfield, MO, or Monett, MO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience programming in an object-oriented programming language.
• Willing to work in a programming support environment as this is not developing new code.
• Willing to work in an on-call rotation that is outside of normal business hours.
• Experience with RPG and SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supports programming code for new and/or existing software enhancements.
• Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.
• Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.
• Provides programming support for various interfaces.
• Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes; may assist the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
• May perform other job duties as assigned.
