Job summary

BMG in Nashville seeks a Royalty Services specialist to review client agreements and ingest them into systems across Publishing and Recorded Artist deals.

You will liaise with Legal, Finance, and Client Services to ensure accurate contract setup, rate modifications, and timely notifications, while maintaining data integrity.

Qualifications

• Strong contract interpretation skills with 3+ years of music industry experience working directly with publishing and/or recording contracts.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks on simultaneous projects.
• Strong attention to detail and organization to identify incomplete information.
• Strong communication for internal and external conversations.

Responsibilities

• Review newly circulated client agreements and implement them into the system across Publishing and Recorded Artist deal types.
• Set up contracts for Recorded Artist agreements and assist in data updates such as song/client linkage and royalty rate changes.
• Perform data maintenance, suspense release, and client/song relinkage tasks.
• Provide timely responses to rights queries and information requests from internal/external parties.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance and Client Services to ensure accurate contract setup and notifications.
• Engage in deal integration discussions and ad-hoc projects as needed.
• Conduct quality checks on data entered by team members.
