Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking a Right of Way Supervisor to lead our ROW team in Manassas or Richmond, VA. You will coordinate with agents, COS, engineers, and clients to deliver transportation, energy, or utility projects on time and on budget.

We expect 5+ years in ROW-related work, 2+ years in supervision, and strong leadership and communication skills. Travel to project sites and mentoring staff are involved; a real estate license within 90 days may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent Right of Way work experience required.
• Five+ years of experience in land, Right of Way, easement acquisition, title research, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of Right of Way supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Right of Way including acquisition, title, permitting, due diligence, public relations and regulatory issues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with databases.
• Ability to read design plans/profiles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Right of Way team and coordinate with agents, COS, clients, engineers, and other disciplines.
• Assist Field Agents with on-site right of way and property assessments.
• Manage daily assignments and allocate resources; track results and report progress.
• Ensure project processes are implemented and adhered to; provide guidance for issue resolution.
• Complete timesheet reviews and employee evaluations.
